Register: Soil Profile classifiers

URI: http://registry.it.csiro.au/sandbox/csiro/soil-profile

This register contains the classifiers from chapter 8 Soil Profile, by R.C. McDonald and R.F. Isbell, in Australian soil and land survey field handbook (3rd edn).

A soil profile is a vertical section of a soil from the soil surface through all its horizons to parent material, other consolidated substrate material or selected depth in unconsolidated material.

Each classifier is denoted by a distinct URI, and is represented as a Concept. The original code for the classifier is recorded as its notation. The classifiers are organized as members of a series of Collections (some nested), each corresponding to one of the subsections (and sub-sub-sections). Where the source defines refinements of individual concepts, these are nested as narrower concepts.
